Color Club Cloud Nine is a beautiful light pink with lavender tones. It is a strong linear holo, and the effect shows up well even in indirect indoor lighting. Of course it's spectacular in the sun too! Application was perfect - nice consistency, easy to control, went on smoothly with no streaking, and was completely opaque in just 2 coats. So far wear is very good - as most holos tend to chip, I'm suitably impressed with these CC holos. I used Poshe as a tc here, and as you can see it didn't dull the holo effect at all (in my opinion). If you like holos, these are an easy choice! Enjoy - >^..^<

Nicole Totally in the Dark
Nicole Totally in the Dark is a beautiful black with silver microglitter particles. It's a beautiful shimmer in the bottle, and luckily it's just as pretty on the nail. Application was very good (despite the squared off brush I don't like) - it has a good consistency, very little streaking, and with careful application you could get away with 2 coats, but I used 3 for full opacity and depth of color. I used a coat of Gelous followed by SV, as I wanted the shimmer to be as obvious as possible. It is pretty in the sun, but I think I like it better in indirect light - the shimmer is still prominent, and gives it a nice texture. It's been a while since I've worn a truly black polish, and I have to say I'm loving this one! Enjoy - >^..^<

Essie Hip-anema
Essie hip-anema is from the Spring 2013 collection. I have no idea what the name means, and it bugs me that it is in all lower-case letters on the label! Oh, Essie. It is a bright poppy red, a medium red with warm tones in most lighting. Application was perfect; easy to control, good consistency, and highly pigmented. Shown here with Poshe, dry time was fine and wear is good so far. It is a bright one, even on this rainy dreary day, which is a nice pick-me-up when the weather is bad. This is the type of color I love in the summer especially, so I can see myself reaching for it (and it's cousins... Geranium, etc) frequently this year! Enjoy - >^,,^<
Zoya Nyx
Zoya Nyx is another color from Zoya's recent first Pixie Duct collection. It is a dusty periwinkle - somewhere between light blue and lavender with a muted dusty quality. I had terrible dry time troubles with Vespa (as have other people), so I learned my lesson and did a Poshe sandwich for both London and Nyx. I used 2 coats of Nyx, then a coat of Poshe fast dry tc, then 2 more layers of Nyx for full opacity, and dry time was fine (i.e. it was dry after an hour and I could go to bed). Application was good - easy to control, not to thick or thin, although the formula is a bit on the sheer side, requiring 4 layers for me to be happy with it's opacity. I really like these Pixie Dust polishes and I can't wait to see the summer colors in person! Enjoy - >^..^<
