Orly Pink Pixel is from the spring 2013 MegaPixel FX collection. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be Orly's version of a "Liquid Sand" polish, but it doesn't stand up if you make that comparison. This is more of a purply pink foil finish with random larger hexagonal glitter pieces, and is somewhat similar to a few of the Julie G Gumdrop polishes (I have the blue and green, and it looks like the same finish). It did not dry with a matte finish, so I went ahead and top-coated it with Poshe. Application was good - Orly is a very underrated brand, IMO. The consistency was great, the brush is wonderful, it was easy to control, and is highly pigmented and fully opaque. The finish is very reflective and shiny, and the glitter particles simply add a bit of texture. I'm really enjoying this polish - lovely color. But I'm not sure if it's worth the inflated pricetag, Orly! Enjoy - >^..^<

Essie Sunday Funday
Essie Sunday Funday is from the new summer 2013 collection. It is a slightly pink toned peach, almost a pale coral, with a slight jelly-ness and silver microflecks. I wouldn't call them glitter, as they aren't that shiny, they're more of a reflective texture - like SH Glass Slipper, only smaller. Application was as good as I expected for a pale coral - meaning it was a bit streaky, but it all evened out and was fully opaque at 3 coats. The color was nice for early summer, but it isn't a terribly unique shade. From any distance to a stranger it would look like a creme, as you need to be looking for the shimmer for it to be noticeable, but it does add interest to an otherwise run-of-the-mill color. Lippmann Let's Go Crazy
Lippmann Let's Go Crazy is a dark purple jelly base with multicolored, multi-sized glitter. Application was pretty good - not too thick or thin, fairly easy to control (especially with the brush I adore), and the glitter laid down evenly on it's own - I didn't have to "place it" on the nail. Whew. It looks very dark in indirect light, but in the sun you can clearly see it is purple. The glitter isn't over-the-top, and adds just enough interest to keep the base from looking flat. I usually don't like this "indie" glitter look, but I really like this one - the glitter adds sparkle without being the center of attention, if you know what I mean. Wear time was very good, and I had very little problem with removal (using pure acetone). I love Lippmann polishes as a general rule, and this one actually surprised me in that I like it a lot more than I expected to! Enjoy - >^..^<
