Color Club Blue Heaven is a lovely sky blue holo that I picked up at Meijer recently. I'm usually not a big fan of intense holos (I prefer the more subtle look, like the new ChG Hologlams), but this is really nice. Application was a dream - I used Orly Nailtrition as a base, and had no streaking, clumping, bald spots, etc. It was a fabulous consistency, very easy to control, and was fully opaque at 2 coats! It also wore very well, with no chipping or tip wear in sight, which can be unusual for a holo. The holo was visible even in indirect lighting, and really came alive in direct sunlight. It is a more coarse look than the Hologlams, in addition to the holo being more visible. If you don't have many holos, this one is easy to find right now and is a great addition to any collection! Butter London Big Smoke
Butter London Big Smoke is a core color I picked up at Ulta a while ago. It's a lovely navy blue shimmer, with a slightly muted slate blue tone to it. It's a bit difficult to capture on camera - it keeps wanting to photograph it more vividly mid-tone blue than it is. In reality it is less intense, and that pleases me. Application was good - easy to control, even coverage and full opacity at 2 coats, though I did 3 for depth of color. It's a beautiful color, though not terribly unique... Enjoy - >^..^<
Orly Peaceful Opposition
Orly Peaceful Opposition is from the new Orly Hope and Freedom Fest collection for spring 2013. It is a milky white base with square and hexagonal glitter that are silver or white in appearance depending on how deep in the base they are. Application was ok - a bit hard to get a nice cuticle line, and it settled at the free edge giving the illusion of tip wear. But it wasn't too streaky and leveled out nicely with no obvious bald patches. I'm not sure if I like this one or not... I guess I'm not a big fan of the current big chunky glitter phase that is so popular right now, so... anyway. Enjoy - >^..^<

Misa Red Pumps at the Nordstrom
Misa Red Pumps at the Nordstrom is a color I picked up from Head 2 Toe; I love Misa's and this one does not disappoint! In my opinion, Misa is an underappreciated brand - the formula is consistently wonderful from one shade to another, they have nice brushes, application is dreamy, and the bottle is square for easy storage! I love reds, and after seeing other's pics of this I knew I had to see it for myself. It is a lovely medium red metallic with a neutral tone (depending on the lighting you are in it can look cooler or warmer). Application was fantastic - great formula, easy to control, streak free and very highly pigmented. It was cloudy here today most of the time, so only the pics at the bottom are in the sun (which peeked out long enough for me to snap there pics then went away again). I did my best to color-correct the pics, but shooting reds is always a challenge and it's hard to get things to look exactly as they do in person. This color just glows - so if you are a red lover you should consider this one (or any of many other red Mias's!). Enjoy - >^..^<
