Layla CE 65

Layla CE 65 is a beautiful vibrant pink/purple with a blue flash.  I wouldn't say it is terribly unique, as it reminds me of OPI Pompeii Purple, ChG Reggae to Riches, etc, but it's pretty none-the-less.  There are beautiful blue sparkles in the bottle which give more of a hue to the finish on the nail rather than a true distinct particular look.  Application was good - for the price per volume, it better be! - even and not streaky, easy to control, and built nicely in opacity.  I liked the end effect, but I felt like I've seen this color before, and I was disappointed I didn't see more of the actual sparkles from the bottle translate to the nail.  Very pretty for spring!  Enjoy -     >^..^<

Layla Softouch Effect 05

Layla Softouch Effect 05 is a beautiful warm salmony pink with absolutely stunning gold microglitter.  The microglitter is so pervasive and intense that it lends a somewhat textured appearance in indirect / indoor lighting, but WOW does it come alive in the sun!  I love great sparkle, and this is perfection in a bottle in the sparkly shimmer department for me.  It's been a long time since I've seen a light performance like this out of any polish in the sun.  Application was great - easy to control, not too thick or thin, but it did dry to a slightly matte, somewhat textured finish.  So I used my Holy Grail of glitter tamers - Gelous and SV - and it evened it right out and added even more shine and really allowed the sparkle to come out.  I love this one - I hope you do too!  It's a must-have for pink lovers, IMO.  Enjoy -     >^..^<

Layla Ceramic Effects 53

Layla Ceramic Effects 53 was released last fall, and can now be found in some Ulta's on clearance.  A fun true red midtone base with flakies, it's a fun color to have in your collection!  Application was pretty good, just a little control issues, and built nicely and was opaque but still jelly-ish at 3 coats.  The flakies are the typical orange to green type, but since they are suspended in the base instead of on the top, the effect is less pronounced.  It performed pretty well in most lighting, with the most pronounced "fire" effect being in semi-direct light (straight sunlight kind of washed it out).  I liked this color, although I wouldn't say it is terribly unique, and despite the fact that I love reds, this one may end up in the swap / sell pile.   Enjoy!     >^..^<
