OPI OPI Scores a Goal!
OPI OPI Scores a Goal! is from the new Brazil collection for spring 2014. It has been described as a raisin color - and I guess that's accurate - it's a milk chocolate creme with purple undertones. Application was good - the formula was nice and creamy, easy to control, minimal streaking, and built nicely in opacity (I used 2 coats here). I like the color - it's a little unusual, a step off the normal greige / grey / brown. Enjoy - >^..^<

Fingerpaints Paint Me Purple
FP Paint Me Purple is part of the newly formulated line at Sally from Fingerpaints. It is a shimmery mid to dark toned purple with pinkish shimmer particles that are just gorgeous in the sun! The formula wasn't bad, but the brush left some to be desired - they are flat now, like the OPI Pro-Wides, are very bushy, and had a lot of errant bristles which made it difficult to control. The color is nice though and built to full opacity in just 2 coats. I like this one - I should have added another topcoat for maximum effect, as this is just one coat of Poshe and I can still appreciate some texture to it that dulls the sparkle just a tad. Fingerpaints Psychedelic Hue over OPI Incognito in Sausalito
Fingerpaints Psychedelic Hue is a new "flakie" from the Sally line of polishes. I say "flakie" because it is more like shards that lay flat as opposed to true flakes. It is still a lovely accent polish - PH has primarily sea green, but also some blue and purple shards. It looks great over IiS, a dark navy blue creme. This is just one (thick) coat of IiS, and one (thick) coat of PH. Application on both was very nice - no complaints. The flakes laid down smoothly and evenly, with very little dabbing for placement necessary. I really like this combo - I hope you do too! Enjoy - >^..^<

OPI Matterhorn Mauve
OPI Matterhorn Mauve is a very old color - originally from the Alpine collection Fall 1993! Obviously black label, it is a dream polish. The color is a muted warm pink, almost salmon color. It reminds me of Lunch at the Dehli, but I haven't compared them side by side. Application was fantastic - great formula (despite it's age), streakless and easy to control, with a slightly crelly-ish finish. I love old polishes, and this one doesn't disappoint. Lovely! Zoya Reva
Zoya Reva is from the Summer 2011 collection, but i just recently picked it up in a Zoya promotion. It is a true red with TONS of gold shimmer - like insane amounts. It is so pretty! I looked up swatches before buying, and it seems to look pinker, or more coral, in many pics, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is a true red. Photographing it proved to be a challenge, as most of my pics look to pink / coral as well, so you'll just have to trust me at my word. Application was great - nice formula, easy to control, and built nicely in opacity. The sun was out today - amazing in itself - so this was a pleasure to wear. The gold shimmer is so intense in the sun it almost makes you squint, and in indirect light the shimmer is still visible, giving it a textured look. I love this - and I may just keep it on one more day! Enjoy - >^..^<

Essie For The Twill Of It
Essie For The Twill Of It is from the Fall 2013 collection, and is an almost exact dupe for OPI's Peace, Love, & OPI. But Twill is so pretty in the bottle, seemingly having more of a duochrome shift than the OPI in the bottle, that I had to have them both. It is a steel grey / green shimmer with a rosey pink duochrome effect, the greenish side being more evident straight on, with the pink showing more at an angle. Application was ok - it seemed to have a nice formula, and was easy to control, but I did get a little streaking and cuticle drag, so it could be better. But the end result is beautiful - I love the OPI, and I like this one just as much! Enjoy - >^..^<

Nicole Stolen Kisses
Nicole Stolen Kisses is a color I've had for many years now, and it's always on the verge on the purge pile. It is a slightly frosty, soft metallic shimmer, but it isn't brushstrokey at all. Application was nice - good formula, easy to control, and built nicely in opacity with no streaks or cuticle drag. It is a deep rosey red raspberry color, and my camera didn't quite capture it. But - it's the best I could do on this cloudy day. Enjoy - >^..^<
