OPI Chick Flick Cherry
Today I dug out a classic red creme - OPI Chick Flick Cherry. This is so beautiful - it's a slightly muted medium / dark red creme, with slightly warm undertones in some lighting. It isn't a bright color, but rather somewhat understated as far as reds go. Application was fantastic (this was a green label formula) - great consistency, easy to control, and a rich pigmentation. I experienced a little cuticle drag on just a few nails, so I ended up using 3 coats for full opacity and depth of color. I knew in advance that the weather today was going to be terrible (cloudy, rainy, gloomy), so I had poor expectations in terms of photo quality on this one... and I was right. It was SO hard to white balance it today, and I couldn't get good focus. By the time the clouds thinned out it was later in the day and the mani was all scuffed, so I apologize for that. I included a few pics that were taken a few years ago in direct sun just for comparison. Enjoy - >^..^<
