Essie Sable Collar

Essie Sable Collar is an interesting color from the Fall 2013 collection.  It is a murky grey-brown base with a pink-leaning shimmer - very hard to describe.  Application was ok - the formula was a bit thin and somewhat sheer, and I got a little cuticle drag on some nails, but it built nicely in opacity and self leveled so there were no obvious bald / thin spots.  It really comes alive in the sun - the pink-ish shimmer is gorgeous, but it falls a little flat in indirect lighting, turning into a murky plummy brown.  It seems a perfect color for fall, and I'm glad the sun came out for a little bit so I could enjoy the true beauty of this one!  Enjoy -     >^..^<
