Lippmann Red Silk Boxers

Lippmann Red Silk Boxers is a new release for Fall 2013.  It is described as a "satin" finish, and I have to agree.  It is a shimmer polish, not a creme, so when it "satin-ifies" there are small variations in the finish from the shimmer that gives it a subtle textured appearance and a distinct glow.  Definitely not a mattified creme.  But application was ok at best - the consistency of the polish is nice, but it dries very quickly so you have to work really fast, and it was difficult to get a nice line around the cuticle.  But the end result is gorgeous - a glowy shade of red that has a soft look to it.  I love reds, and the unique finish on this one is just icing on the cake!  Enjoy -     >^..^<
