OPI Moon Over Mumbai, Lippmann A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square, OPI Pirouette My Whistle

This is my favorite layering combo I've done in a while - OPI Pirouette My Whistle over a layer of an ancient Lippmann called A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square over OPI Moon Over Mumbai.  MoM is a semi sheer dove grey with slight shimmer, almost like a pearl finish.  Nightingale (which is one of the oldest Limmann's out there - notice the bottle says Lippmann Collection, has a silver cap, and the bottle is a slightly different shape than the newer ones) is a layering color - it looks like an ivory leaning grey with a strong pink flash in the bottle, and the base color matched that of MoM very nicely.  I used a layer of PmW over it just to give it more of an ethereal feel, and I love the end result!  Application on MoM was ok - slightly streaky, but evened out nicely after a few coats.  The Lippmann was perfect; and PmW was... well... PmW.  The larger pearly glitter particles don't want to come off the brush very easily, so I ended up blotting them on and was still lucky to get a few on each nail.  Nightingale is long discontinued and is very hard to find now, although there are other pearly sheers with a pink flash out there.  MoM and PmW are much more easily obtained.   I loved this one - hope you do too!   Enjoy -     >^..^<
