Illamasqua Gothiqua is a recent acquisition from a very sweet gal - it is a Canadian exclusive, so I feel very lucky and grateful to have it (thank you, M!)! It is a deep eggplant creme with very subtle green shimmer, that unfortunately is much more visible in the bottle than on the nail. Application was very nice - this is my first Illa, and I am impressed - nice consistency, highly pigmented, easy to control, and is just so darn glossy on it's own! I used 3 coats here as I had a few streaky spots, but you could get away with 2 easily. In the shade / indirect light it just looks like a vampy creme, with *maybe* a little texture from the largely hidden shimmer. In the sun you can see the shimmer more easily, but it's nowhere near what it looks like in the bottle. I'm a bit disappointed it doesn't look more like it does in the bottle, but it is lovely none-the-less. Enjoy - >^..^<
ETA: Aaaaaaaand...... Blogger is doing it again. All the pics I directly upload are completely washed out. So the first 2 here are linked directly from Photobucket, and are true to color, hue, and intensity. The remaining are direct uploads, so use your imaginations.... again. Sorry -
The following are all direct uploads to Blogger and are completely washed out and "fuzzy". Refer to the above 2 photos from PB for correct appearance.
