OPI Stay the Night

Well today I have a polish that totally surprised me - OPI Stay the Night!  This is brand new from the Mariah Carey collection, and demonstrates the new Liquid Sand technology.  I saw pics of this online, and really didn't care for it at all in pics.  But I thought it had potential with a glossy topcoat.  When I saw it, I decided to take a chance on the black, and I am so glad I did!  Even the swatch card in Ulta didn't convey how cool this really is.  I used 3 thin coats here, with no topcoat.  Dry time was surprisingly fast - I was in bed less than an hour later, and no signs of it being sticky at all.  Application was fantastic - very easy to control - look at that gap!  I'm so proud.  The first coat is a tad streaky, but it all evened out at 2-3 coats.  Now I did swatch this on a wheel both with and without topcoat, and can I just say I have no idea how other ladies are getting a glossy finish on this.  Even with Gelous and another TC it was still bumpy - but not in a bad way - it made it look like leather.  And I haven't noticed any fading of the color of the glitter yet either!  Anyway - this is a really cool polish, and I'm very glad I got it.  And I plan on picking up the new Zoya's that have the same effect.  Enjoy!   >^..^<
